1996
The foundation that we started CE Produkter 1996 was very much based on the idea to be able to recycle the waste material that our clients got from their production.Our business concept became to take back the waste from our clients and add it back into the production and manufacture a new product that we named RECOFELT®.
This was an idea much appreciated of our clients since they could decrease their cost for garbage disposal and they would get at good and cost efficient product back.
A decade later...
Now, more than 10 years later different varieties of the Recofelt is one of our best selling product and the environmental discussion is the hottest topic all over the world.Global warming and the environmental wear is in every news paper and news broad cast all over the world.
The research for new materials that will decrease our oil dependence is moving forward and we at CE Produkter are working hard to be in the front of the development.
During the last couple of years we have been doing tests with the new PLA fiber that is based on corn starch. This fiber has all the same good qualities that the traditional polyester fiber has but doesn’t wear down on our oil supplies.
And as of 2007 PLA-fiber products are now a part of our regular product range.
We are fully convinced that the development will move fast towards more recycled materials and renewable products, areas that we have long experience of.
